This was the Launch of the Canada-India Project for Research and Innovation (CIPRI) and the first annual Canada-India Symposium at York University, Toronto! The purpose of the Canada-India Symposium event is to discuss and bring attention to research topics ranging from Social Science Frontiers and Public Policy to Migration, Diaspora, STEM and Economic Activities between Canada and India, in the hopes of improving relations between the commonwealth nations. A huge thank you goes out to our speakers who made this symposium possible, and to the participation of our distinguished guests and to students who attended and aided with the execution of this event. Last, but not least we at CIPRI would like to give our deepest gratitude to Mr.Dinesh Bhatia, and the Consulate General of India Toronto for their continual support of this event, as well as to Professor Dawn Bazely and Dr. Nivedita Das Kundu for planning this first of its kind symposium.
