Today, CIPRI (Canadian-India Project for Research and Innovation) met up with the international students at York International Global Lounge, to give a brief overview of the goals of CIPRI and how to engage in our activities. This meet and greet would not have been possible without the exemplary efforts of CIPRI student committee members Manroop Grewal and Talha Khan, who presented and guided the meet the greet. Within this meet and greet, an explicit break down of CIPRI’s focus on research initiatives between India and Canada. In addition, this outreach event was also to inform students that CIPRI is an inclusive initiative, where anyone is welcome as India and Canada are multicultural countries.
To celebrate the 68th Anniversary of Republic Day of India, the Consulate of India in Toronto held an event on January 26, 2018 at the Consulate. CIPRI Team celebrated the event along with the community members and diplomats at the Consulate.
